Where is Joe?

Lots of dancing, lots of fun, lots of great people!

One of the things us Solivita residents enjoy is a good $7.00 dance!  Many of the clubs hold these dances every once in a while, and they ALL are fabulous!  Your ticket pays for the great music playing so you can dance the night away, and everyone brings non-catered snacks to share with their table mates.  Well this past Saturday, the Caramvita Club held a $7.00 and as I approached the doors of the ballroom, the first thing I heard was, “Where is Joe?”.  Unfortunately, Joe (my spouse) could not make it.  He was busy all day, starting with pickleball, then computer issues, preparing for house painters, and other house “stuff”.  Well, by the end of the day, he was tuckered out!  That’s what I LOVE about Solivita, the caring and concerned residents!  Whether it be a dance, a show, a concert, whatever … if there is someone missing (husband, significant other, friends), someone everyone is used to seeing with you, they are asked about.  We all look out for one another!  LOVE IT!

Well, after being asked about Joe numerous times, I thought it would be a hoot to let him know (VISUALLY) that he was missed!  Somewhat like, “Where’s Waldo?”, I took  pictures of some asking, “Where is Joe?”!!  We snacked, drank, and danced the night away, but still … everyone asked, “Where is Joe”?

Well, to all that may have wondered, but didn’t ask …. Joe is fine!  He was just a bit tired, and insisted that I go on ahead with my mom, Lois, and my sister, Ione, to dance the night away – and I did!  But don’t worry, he’ll be there next time, with his dancing shoes on!
